SNWI The One-Step Rapid detection of malaria is a rapid side flow immunochromatography method that detects and identifies malaria specific histidine rich protein-2 (Pf HRP-II), Plasmodium genus (Pan) specific pLDH (Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase), Plasmodium vivax specific lactate dehydrogenase (Pv LDH), as well as antibodies against Plasmodium falciparum (Pf) and Plasmodium vivax (Pv), including IgG, IgM, and IgA, in human blood samples, Assisted diagnosis of malaria infection.

REAGENT PREPARATION AND STORAGE of Malaria rapid test kit
Store at any temperature between 4-30ºC. 
Store the test kit as packaged in the sealed pouch at room temperature. The test device is stable through the expiration date, and must be remained in the sealed pouch until use.
The buffer should be stored at  2-30ºC. Do not freeze. Do not use beyond the expiration date.  
Specimen collection of  Malaria rapid test kit
Specimen can be whole blood or serum or plasma.
Seperate the serum or plasma from blood as soon as possible to avoid hemolysis. 
Testing should be performed immediately after the specimens have been collected. 
How to read the result of Malaria rapid test kit
>1. Negative: Only one pink band appears on test region.
>2. Positive: Two pink bands appear on test region.
>3. Invalid: If without colored band appears on test region, this is an indication of a possible error in performing the test.
The test should be repeated by using a new device.
 WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR Using Malaria rapid test kit
≡1. The test should be used only for in vitro use only.
≡2. The test will only indicate the presence of antigen to Malaria in the specimen and should not be used as the sole criteria for the diagnosis of Malaria infections. 
≡3. For confirmation, further analysis of the specimens should be performed. 
≡4. If the test result is negative and clinical symptoms persist, additional follow-up tests using other clinical methods are recommended.

Directions for Use :     
For Whole Blood specimen: 
1) Dispense 1 drops of Whole Blood specimen to the "s" well of the test card with the provided plastic dropper according to the figure. 
2) Add 1 or 2 drops of Sample Diluent to the sample well, immediately after the specimen is added, from the dropper tip diluent vial (or all contents from the single test ampule).
3) Interpret test results in 20 minutes. 
For serum or plasma specimens:
1) Dispense 2 or 3 drops (100 μl) of serum/plasma specimen to the "s" well of the test card with the provided plastic dropper according to the figure
2) start the timer and wait for the colored line(s) to appear.
3) Interpret test results in 20 minute.
Interpretation of Results:
1) Positive: Both purplish red test band and purplish red control band appear on the membrane. The lower the antibody concentration, the weaker the test band. 
2) Negative: Only the purplish red control band appears on the membrane. The absence of a test brand indicates a negative result. 
3) Invalid: There should always be a purplish red control band in the control region regardless of test result . If control band is not seen, the test is considered invalid. Repeat the test using a new test device. Note: It is normal to have a slightly lightened control band with very strong positive samples as long as it is distinctly visible.
