Some blood collection tubes contain additives designed to stabilize and preserve the specimen prior to analytical testing. Tubes are available with a safety-engineered stopper, with a variety of labeling options and draw volumes. The color of the top indicates the additives in the vial. Usage for hematology determination, blood type verification,blood cross-match test, Additive or no additive tube. This tube is used for blood specimen collection and storage for biochemistry, immunology, element trace, various types of virus detection and so on for clinical test.

Clot activator tube ( red cap )

-Clot activator tube used in clinical chemistry, serology, immunology, therapeutic drugmonitoring of general trace elements, clot is used for accelerating the blood coagulation so clot tube can shorten blood test circle.

Gel& Clot activator yellow cap

-Gel is used to separate the corporal ingredients of the blood and serum after centrifugation. It can improve the quality and yield of serum, to keep the stability of blood components for a long time. Gel has a very strong stability and is not easy to adsorb the protein in the blood. It can make accurate results for drug testing and biochemical tests.

-Heparin tube is used in blood collection and anti-coagulation not only for routine clinical biochemistry tests and emergency biochemistry tests but also for some test items in blood rheology .
