SNWI The HCV Hepatitis C Virus Ab Test is a rapid Colloidal Gold chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) in Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma to aid in the diagnosis of Hepatitis C Virus infection. This one step test is very sensitive and only takes about 15-20 minutes. Test results are read visually without any instrument.

REAGENT PREPARATION AND STORAGE of HCV rapid test kit
Store at any temperature between 4-30ºC. 
Store the test kit as packaged in the sealed pouch at room temperature. The test device is stable through the expiration date, and must be remained in the sealed pouch until use.
The buffer should be stored at  2-30ºC. Do not freeze. Do not use beyond the expiration date.

Directions for Use : 

Allow the test, specimen and/or controls to reach room temperature 15-30ºC (59-86ºF) prior to testing.

1. Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test cassette from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
2. Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. Read results at 15 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
3. For whole blood specimens: Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 1 drop of whole blood(approximately 35μl) to the specimen well(S) of the test device, then add 2 drops of buffer (approximately 70μl) and start the timer. See illustration below.
4. For serum or plasma specimen: Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 drops of serum or plasma (approximately 100μl) to the specimen well(S) of the test device, then start the timer, and then begin timing
5. Place the test cassette on a clean and level surface.
