Product Introduction:
SNWI The One-Step HBsAg Test is a qualitative immunoassay that detects Hepatities B Surface Antigen ( HBsAg) in whole blood or serum or plasma samples. The test is available in strip and cassette format. immunochromatographic screening test for HBsAg of hepatitis B. The test is based on the principle of sandwich immunoassay for determination of HBsAg in whole blood. Two Monoclonal antibodies are employed to identufy HBsAg specifically. This one step test is very sensitive and only takes about 15-20 minutes. Test results are read visually without any instrument.
Features:
REAGENT PREPARATION AND STORAGE of HBsAg rapid test kit
Store at any temperature between 4-30ºC.
Store the test kit as packaged in the sealed pouch at room temperature. The test device is stable through the expiration date, and must be remained in the sealed pouch until use.
The buffer should be stored at 2-30ºC. Do not freeze. Do not use beyond the expiration date.
Specimen collection of HBsAg rapid test kit
Specimen can be whole blood or serum or plasma.
Seperate the serum or plasma from blood as soon as possible to avoid hemolysis.
Testing should be performed immediately after the specimens have been collected.
How to read the result of HBsAg rapid test kit
>1. Negative: Only one pink band appears on test region.
>2. Positive: Two pink bands appear on test region.
>3. Invalid: If without colored band appears on test region, this is an indication of a possible error in performing the test.
The test should be repeated by using a new device.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR Using HBsAg rapid test kit
≡1. The test should be used only for in vitro use only.
≡2. The test will only indicate the presence of anitibodies to HIV in the specimen and should not be used as the sole criteria for the diagnosis of HIV 1/2 infections.
≡3. For confirmation, further analysis of the specimens should be performed.
≡4. If the test result is negative and clinical symptoms persist, additional follow-up tests using other clinical methods are recommended.

Directions for Use :
For Whole Blood specimen:
1) Dispense 1 drops of Whole Blood specimen to the "s" well of the test card with the provided plastic dropper according to the figure.
2) Add 1 or 2 drops of Sample Diluent to the sample well, immediately after the specimen is added, from the dropper tip diluent vial (or all contents from the single test ampule).
3) Interpret test results in 20 minutes.
For serum or plasma specimens:
1) Dispense 2 or 3 drops (100 μl) of serum/plasma specimen to the "s" well of the test card with the provided plastic dropper according to the figure
2) start the timer and wait for the colored line(s) to appear.
3) Interpret test results in 20 minute.
Interpretation of Results:
1) Positive: Both purplish red test band and purplish red control band appear on the membrane. The lower the antibody concentration, the weaker the test band.
2) Negative: Only the purplish red control band appears on the membrane. The absence of a test brand indicates a negative result.
3) Invalid: There should always be a purplish red control band in the control region regardless of test result . If control band is not seen, the test is considered invalid. Repeat the test using a new test device. Note: It is normal to have a slightly lightened control band with very strong positive samples as long as it is distinctly visible.
