Latex foley catheter is used in departments of urology, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology for drainage of urine and medication. It is also used for patients suffering form moving with difficulty or being completely bed-ridden.The Urethral cathetersare passed through the urethra during urinary catheterization and into the bladder to drain urine, or for inserting fluids into the bladder. A catheter is a tube inserted through the urethra into the bladder to drain urine. A tube made of Latex, silicone or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) can be inserted into the bladder through the urethra to drain the urine out. After the catheter is inserted into the bladder, a balloon fixed the catheter near the end of the catheter stays in the bladder and is not easy to fall off, and the drainage tube is connected to the urine bag to collect the urine.

DIRECTIONS:
After aseptic catheterization,inflate the retention balloon by inserting the syringe tip into the valve and introduce the necessary amount of sterile water.
WARNING:
Do not use ointments or lubricants having a petroleum base.They will damage the catheter and cause the balloon to burst.
